WHO ARE WE ?

We are the Manheim Central Committee.
We represent over 3,400 Democrats in the Manheim Central District.
We are all local volunteers who believe that Democracy is not a spectators sport and our system works best when everyone participates.

WHAT DO WE DO ?
|

We conduct oversight of polling places to ensure that election officials are providing a hospitable and non-partisan atmosphere for all voters.
We strive to inform voters on current issues that Democrats believe are important to everybody.
We work to elect candidates who will fight for these issues.
We participate in local community events.
We help citizens register to vote and be informed of voter information .
We assist local Democratic candidates with ballot placement, financial report registration and campaign activities, including financial support.
We assist endorsed County, State and National Democratic candidates with canvassing, fundraising and polling place voter contact.
We engage in fundraising to help finance our activities and provide financial support to Democratic Candidates.
We help citizens interact with elected officials to address public services and/or citizen grievances.
We provide local feedback to the Lancaster County Democratic Committee so they know and can act on your concerns and priorities.
We perform canvassing of precinct neighborhoods to ensure that voter lists are up to date and accurate.
We coordinate training for Manheim Central Committeepersons, Volunteers, Campaign Workers and Poll Watchers provided by Lancaster County Democratic Committee and The County Board of Elections.
We conduct election day efforts to help voters get to the polls and increase turnout.
